SBC
Chamber Lauds Locals For Service
The Free Lance • December 16, 2006 • Weekend
Edition
Hollister - Two years ago, when
Theresa Martin and her husband, Jim, started Night
Out Limousine in Hollister, they never dreamed of
being named one of the San Benito County Chamber of
Commerce's businesses of the year.
"I was so surprised - a little
overwhelmed, actually," Theresa Martin said Friday
after her company was named the chamber's service
business of the year for 2006. In addition to
providing the usual limo services, Night Out has
recently taken a new approach, working closely with
other local businesses to promote tourism and
highlight the county's diverse array of resources
and attractions.

In The Glass ~ A Wine Lover's Tour
Southern Nevada Home & Garden •
July 2006
Although this is one of the smaller
wine regions on our tour, San Benito County is also
one of the oldest wine-growing regions in the state.
The county covers approximately 1,396 square miles
and is bordered on the north by Santa Cruz and Santa
Clara counties, by Merced and Fresno counties to the
east, and by Monterey County to the west.
Hollister, which is the county seat, is
approximately 95 miles south of San Francisco and
300 miles north of Los Angeles. San Benito
County is also home to the charming town of San Juan
Bautista where you'll find the fifteenth California
mission.
